Description | The Madog Center for Welsh Studies is an outgrowth of the early Welsh-American settlements that have surrounded the University of Rio Grande for nearly 200 years. The mission of the Center is to support the scholarly study of Welsh and Welsh-American culture, history, arts and humantities in North America, through language, music, art, literature, film and drama. The Center has strong links with Wales and offers Rio students the chance to study in Wales, at the Trinity College, Carmarthen. |
