DescriptionThe station closed in 1959 and reopened as a museum in 1972. Most of the equipment remains in the building and some can be demonstrated. Tours generally have a section for the history of the Transatlantic Cable and the Station. Then a guided tour of the museum where some of the equipment is demonstrated. Tours are free but donations a gratefully accepted.
