Cheers Boston
Boston's most popular bar where everybody knows your name

Category:     Boston American restaurant in Massachusetts

Description of this Boston Restaurant: Previously known as the “Bull & Finch Pub,” this bar’s rise to stardom is the classic Hollywood story – only it happened in Boston! Three producers looked to create a sitcom based on a neighborhood bar. One producer suggested going to Boston, where sports and politics were hot issues in the local watering holes. One afternoon, the producers dropped into the Bull & Finch Pub where they met our affable bartender Eddie Doyle. After a beer, burger, and a chat with Eddie, they felt good about the Bull & Finch. They visited half a dozen other Boston bars, but returned to 84 Beacon Street, declaring, “This is the place!” The Bull and Finch went on to become one of Boston’s most popular tourist attractions. However, even with all that stardom, the bar now known as Cheers has held onto the feelings of hospitality and warmth felt by the three producers over 25 years ago. Norm, Cliff and the gang may not be among the many faces sharing a laugh with our hospitable, but the atmosphere remains the same. Cheers is the ideal place for newcomers and old friends alike to share hearty laughs, tall tales, “little-known facts,” and, of course, a cold beer.

Terramia Ristorante
The Best Italian restaurant in Boston!

Category:     Boston Italian restaurant in Massachusetts

Description of this Boston Restaurant: A true gem among all those rhinestones in the North End, this rustic but cozy trattoria with stucco walls and beamed ceilings specializes in creative interpretations of Italian classics. Behind Terramia's pane-windowed storefront on Salem Street is a busy trattoria decked out in linens, candlelight and paintings of the Italian countryside. Like the cuisine here, the atmosphere is elegant yet understated. Since opening in 1993, Terramia has aimed to convince North End diners that there was always more to Italian food than red sauce. Over the Years, the inventive and beloved restaurant has done a great deal of convincing. You'll find creative interpretations of seasonally-based classics here. But come early because you won't be alone. Traditional and more nouveau cuisine combines here. In addition to seasonal changes, the menu features recipes brought back from annual trips to Italy.
