North Florida Fishing Charters Inshore and backwater fishing trips
Category: Jacksonville Fishing in Florida
Description of this Jacksonville Activity: Welcome to North Florida Fishing Charters. I am Captain Ron Schurr your guide. I have been fishing the waters of St. Augustine, Jacksonville and Amelia Island for 17 years specializing in light tackle inshore and backwater fishing. I make every effort to provide a memorable and safe fishing adventure regardless of your fishing expertise.
You will be sure to catch Redfish (Red Drum), Flounder, Speckled Trout as they are available year-round. Bluefish, Black Drum, Sheepshead, Jacks, Ladyfish and Tarpon are also available depending on the time of the year. Redfish are well-known for a great fight and can exceed 40 plus pounds of screaming reel fun.
I focus most of my trips in the scenic backwater marshes and estuaries that are along the Intracoastal waterway. These areas are home to Dolphins, Osprey, Wood Storks, Egrets, Herons and Manatees. These areas are well known for the large Redfish that we will catching.
You will be aboard my 18 foot Key West Stealth with a 115 hp. Yamaha outboard motor set up exclusively for inshore and shallow water fishing. Bait, fishing license, bottled water and only the best tackle is provided with every charter.
A day on the water having fun, enjoying the scenery and catching fish, what could be better?
